Not many people realize how they sound to others and no one wants to wait to be told they're mumbling, talking too fast, using too much slang, etc...especially during an interview, when it's crucial you make a good first impression. Tired? Mumbling? Lots of "like"'s and um's? These are interview killers. Try standing up when you are talking, you sound more energetic and engaged. Have questions ready that show you have taken the time to research the company. Discuss issues that are impacting the company right now, or alternatively leave it open: "What is your biggest challenge, and how can I help you?"
